ℹ️ ➖➖➖ The MAG 58 is a belt-fed machine gun firing belt-fed 7.62mm ammunition. It can be used as a light support weapon or mounted on a tripod with better sights in an extended range role.
Sustained Fire Capability
Belt feeding guarantees high volumes of fire.
The MAG is fitted with a quick change barrel which makes replacement of a hot barrel possible in less than 6 seconds.
Also, the MAG fires from an open breach, which suppresses any risk of cook-off.
Long Range Capability
The MAG machine gun fires 7.62x51mm NATO rounds perfectly suited to medium machine gun applications and offers an effective range up to 1,000m when fired from a bipod or up to 1,500m when fired from a tripod.
Highly Reliable and Accurate
Throughout the years, the MAG machine gun has proven reliability in all combat conditions.
This is achieved thanks to:
An adjustable gas regulator
A primary extraction
A two-step feed
long life of major parts
The MAG machine gun also provides superiority on the battlefield during defensive or offensive operations.
